Checkered Flag Properties was founded in 2019 by Buddy Wilkins and Derrick Nichols — two guys with a lot of equipment, a lot of experience, and a simple idea: show up when you say you will, do what you said you'd do, and charge a fair price.
What started as a small operation has grown into a full-service land clearing and excavation business serving customers across South, Southeast, and Southwest Arkansas. We've cleared overgrown homesteads, prepped commercial building sites, dug ponds, taken down old houses, and put in countless driveways and septic systems.
Through it all, we've stayed family-owned. When you call our number, you're not getting routed to a call center or some assistant. You're getting Buddy or Derrick — the guys who'll actually be on your job site.
Our Equipment
One of the things that sets us apart is that we own all our equipment outright. No rentals, no waiting on someone else's machinery, no surprise charges. When we say we'll be there Tuesday, the equipment is already loaded and ready.
